It's where my parents and grandparents also celebrated their marriages and is a part of my family history. I'm glad the club is hanging Piers's painting of the grand old neo-renaissance style building that used to dominate the skyline. What a shame it has been replaced by an ugly modern skyscraper! As you say, that's the way things are done in Hong Kong. But I can't help feeling sad about it.
