Adam Williams is a businessman and historical novelist. The 4th generation of his family to live and work in China, his trilogy of historical novels The Palace of Heavenly Pleasure, The Emperor’s Bones and The Dragon’s Tail are loosely based on his great grandparents’ and grandparents’ experiences in China in the early years of the Twentieth Century and his own 30 years here. The Emperor’s Bones has this year been published in Chinese and immediately became No 1 on Dandang Wang’s Bestseller List

Adam is published in fifteen languages, most recently in Chinese. Adam will also be bringing copies of some of his books (in English and Chinese) to the talk.

  • Topic: China Revolutions and Family History
  • The Talk: Adam will speak on the topic of “Chinese Revolutions and China History”, which will cover four generations of history in China and the political events going on around them. This talk will be a fully illustrated presentation with period photos.
